| Swift Water Rescue Training |
Fri. Jul 10th 2009
This past Wednesday members of Collinsburg and Sutersville attended their last class to become certified in Water Rescue and Emergency Response. The class, held at Stony Creek near Johnstown, was designed to allow students real swift water application of the self rescue and civilian rescue techniques learned throughout the class. Our thanks to Instructor Scott Grahn who did a great job preparing us for the for the swift water and opening our eyes to the dynamic of swift water rescue. We all look forward to our next class with Scott as we continue to develop a team of PA Swift Water Technicians.
